Stuff Michael Meeks is doing

Up early; re-registered for foundation membership; interesting. More GEP interaction.
Did a bit of libbonobui cleanup, now we use stock items properly. Set SRX643_OO building again, seemingly quite contentedly. Wrote a status report for Nat.
Found and fixed borkage in OO's JavaLoader exception propagation. Poked at the installer list to try and get movement on rationalizing the setup process.
Poked at evolution to help NotZed with some popup menu oddness he's suffering.
Caught up with Mark, he's a funky kid - written some exciting stuff for a GObject adaptor in ORBit2 - or 'the GOA' for short [ go'er ], on the gobject-adaptor branch.

Stunned that the OO build totally discards the system $PATH, and makes up it's own version, complete with things like:

$PATH .= $ps.$USR.$ds."sbin".
         $ps.$ETC.
         $ps.$USR.$BIN.$ds."X11".
         $ps.$USR.$ds."X11".$BIN.
         $ps.$OPT.$ds."langtools".$BIN.

simply amazing. Having carefully setup my paths I wondered why they didn't point at anything useful.

Gel wrist rest sufficiently annoying to get poked at enough to get bits of gell oozing out, hmm. Also not so good at stopping the elbows giving pain - the root need. Good for pretending to be attacked by a (blue transparent) eel though.
Phoned the Dentist to register and book an appointment, pain relatively bad - if only the Hove chap hadn't thrown me out for missing 3 appointments.
Published the conclusion to gep-1: rejected and Mark working on splitting the C++ stuff.
J' home, cooked dinner - set about doing the accounts; so much more frindly to do it with two. We got through a few months. Bed late.
