Stuff Michael Meeks is doing

This is my (in)activity log. You might like to visit my employer
Novell which is an amazing company, and also
Dell who in days of yore provided me with a
free laptop for Gnome development / conferences.
Also if you have the time to read this sort of stuff you could enlighten
yourself by going to Unraveling Wittgenstein's net or if
you are feeling objectionable perhaps here.

- Poked mail, on to binutils. Micha's relocations
looking nice, fiddled with link maps: generated a nice
__vtrelocs section symbol, updated crtstuff, printed my 1st
vtreloc successfully: nice.
- Hannah still not shaking off her temperature, off
pre-school; lovely day outside though - swings/slides with N.
- Dinner - back to work; single and multiple
inheritance working really nicely with virtual/copy
relocations - unfortunately virtual inheritance putting a
big spanner in the works.
- Eventually unwound the problem - related to some
confusion with construction vtables: onto the next major down:
memory protection - again under glibc's control: every
requirement: code cleanliness, performance, memory etc.
subserviant to the burning desire (sic.) not to touch glibc.
Hacked around the issue: looks good.
In case it's not painfully obvious: the reflections reflected here are my
own; mine, all mine ! and don't reflect the views of Novell, The
Lithuanian Gov't or Arnold Schwarzenegger. It's also important to
realise that I'm not in on the Swedish Conspiracy.
Occasionally people ask for formal photos for conferences,
bio.
or fun.
