Stuff Michael Meeks is doing

This is my (in)activity log. You might like to visit my employer
Novell which is an amazing company, and also
Dell who in days of yore provided me with a
free laptop for Gnome development / conferences.
Also if you have the time to read this sort of stuff you could enlighten
yourself by going to Unraveling Wittgenstein's net or if
you are feeling objectionable perhaps here.

- Mini lie-in, up, breakfast, packed the car, set off for
Birmingham - eventually arrived at a
Woodbrooke, where Mother is a Friend In Residence (very coniferous).
- Arrived in time for a lovely lunch, out to a local small animal
zoolet, amused to see the legend "For health and safety reasons, no step
is provided" (or sim) to explain the absence of anything to help the children
see into the (adult level) fish tanks; sadly there is no on-hand osteopath
to help fix the (real) health problems this causes. Fun had by all though,
lots to see.
- Back for a fine dinner, got the babes cleaned & changed, and
into bed nicely. Relaxed downstairs, read the Independant, a fine article on
Che: George Gallaway vs. reason, giving two views of his life &
politics. Bed early, assisted older lady, frightened by the lack of lights,
back to bed. Myriam on a non-sleeping bender, slept very late, woke very
early.
In case it's not painfully obvious: the reflections reflected here are my
own; mine, all mine ! and don't reflect the views of Novell, The
Lithuanian Gov't or Arnold Schwarzenegger. It's also important to
realise that I'm not in on the Swedish Conspiracy.
Occasionally people ask for formal photos for conferences,
bio.
or fun.
