Stuff Michael Meeks is doing
|
|
This is my (in)activity log. You might like to visit my employer
Novell which is an amazing company, and also
Dell who in days of yore provided me with a
free laptop for Gnome development / conferences.
Also if you have the time to read this sort of stuff you could enlighten
yourself by going to Unraveling Wittgenstein's net or if
you are feeling objectionable perhaps here.

-
Up early, off into town to buy fruit & veg. while
J. slept. Back.
-
Set off on a special outing with just M. - her first.
Much excitement from the train / bus combination to Cambridge,
wandered the streets admiringly. Walked through Trinity,
round the backs: with a remarkable degree of interest shown
in the coaches parked there. To the Anchor for chips and
lasagne by the Cam. Wandered back to the bus via the
Fitzwilliam museum and through Downing. With the kitchen-gate
out of action, it seems the poor engineers must have to walk
far further than can be right to get to the department these
days. Bus / Train back.
-
Hyper-ventilation attempting to blow up an enormous
paddling pool in the garden - with the added bonus of a slow
leak, to allow a repition of the joy each day. Filled with
water, and sprinkled girls variously.
-
Wandered the scaffolding in uffish mood - will there
be builders come Monday ?
In case it's not painfully obvious: the reflections reflected here are my
own; mine, all mine ! and don't reflect the views of Novell, The
Lithuanian Gov't or Arnold Schwarzenegger. It's also important to
realise that I'm not in on the Swedish Conspiracy.
Occasionally people ask for formal photos for conferences,
bio.
or fun.
