Up, patch reviews for RC2. Pleased to read Bjoern's nice
blog entry about long-term planning for incompatible changes in
4.0.

Prodded at the 3.4 bug list, and poked at RC2, reviewed
more changes left and right. Pleased to see Lanedo's new website and their stewardship.

Slogged away at prose for Linux Format column, and ran
builds variously.
