Off to NCC; ran kids work with J. back for a roast lunch.
adjusted bikes & pumped up tires, out for a family ride across
the heath; back to watch Moonfleet together. Out to Nigel
& Sue's wedding party; babes up late; fun.
Up; into Cambridge for a customer meeting; off to the
beer festival; drunk some rather mixed ales - the ones that
didn't sell during the week; lunch. Back to the office,
planning, discussion etc. Home, dinner, read stories watched
the end of a '12' movie with the babes: un-impressed.
Thrilled to see sanity prevail and Google win on APIs
vs. Oracle. Customer call. Bruce & Anne over for lunch.
Admin, E-mail and so on all day; ESC call; Got to some
bug fixing in the evening - babes out at music lessons.
Up; customer team call; admin; lunch; product team call;
brief GSOC pokeage at XFastParser; dinner, read stories, chat
Into Cambridge on the train, met Julie; sales call.
Built ESC stats. Mail chew; out to beer festival with Tracie,
good to spend some time with some of the team; caught up with
Rob too. Back very late.
Mail chew; various team calls much of the day; lots of
good things getting done. TDF board call in the evening.
Off to NCC; Erica's dedication - great to see John
Hall again, had Julie back for a roast lamb lunch & play
with the babes. Slugged in the garden reading the Economist;
watche bit of 'Up' with babes, caught up with Russell.
Up earlyish, out for a walk at Noughton Park with the
family; fine country with almost no-one in it - amazing. Home
for lunch. Out to the NCC vision day for a bit. Back, long
stories, and played with babes.
Up early; admin, quarterly management meeting, customer

Chat with Chris; mail chew; signed TDF forms and posted them.

Early customer call; mail chew; admin; lunch - sales call,
customer call, built ESC stats; admin.
Mail chew; team meetings. More mail chew; bits of admin
Mondays are ever thus.
Up early, to NCC early; cut up puzzles, helped to run the
new, more mixed-age middle kids group. Back for a fine roast lunch.
Out to the heath with J. for a walk in the afternoon sun,
lovely - deserted location with no-one around to relax in for a
Mended my minetest VM - amazingly 'git gc' on a 4Gb
repository and only 2Gb of RAM blew up hideously, and managed to
destroy the (sadly Windows) host tool bother. Managed to clean
things up in the end. Put babes to bed early; long stories.
Up early; train to London with H, M. Katie, and the church
youth group for a Dinosaurs in the Bible ? trip to the
Natural History museum; spent lots of time with a Christian
Geologist / Archaeologist - poked at the strata and fossil
types, and concluded: the earth indeed looks really old; and
that's not a problem. Fun. Back home, slugged, bed.
Mail, admin & calls all day - spot of GSOC fun in
the afternoon. Synched with Miklos, Katie over for a sleepover,

poked at bits of code. Out for a run before dinner, read stories,
Lydia over for dinner. Worked late with kendy on an issue.

Tired; out to NCC; home, fine lunch, slugged non-vigorously
in the garden. Watched David Copperfield in the afternoon;
A weekend - nice; drove to Leiston Abbey with M&D.
for Bruce & Anne's anniversary. Got instruments unpacked,
quick quarter practice.
A lovely family meal, lots of distant relatives, and
new people, babes played three quartet pieces beautifully;
a Polka & Fiesta from Shiela Nelson and, a simple Bartok
Back to Bruce & Anne's in a car full of balloons
for a relax, some tea etc.
Up; lovely breakfast with Kendy, Petra & family.
Some great music-making going on too, wonderful. Bid a hurried
'bye, and caught a bus/tram/bus/aeroplane back home. Worked away
at the E-mail backlog on the plane variously.
Parents over in the afternoon; lovely to see them - time
together in the evening.
Up too early; to Stansted; flew to Prague; busses
variouslym and arrived at Kendy's - a fine lunch from a
Chefski, and out to visit a customer with Niall. Meal in
the evening, back to catch up together & bed.
Employee, customer & team calls; worked through the
E-mail backlog. Worked late.
Day of catch-up, back-to-back calls, sales, customer,
and so on.
Up early; Gokhan and Muhammet kindly took me to the
airport; checked in; prodded at E-mail. Code review on the
plane waiting for takeoff.
Breakfast and out to the hack-fest; lots of interesting
questions, code reading, interspersed with small bits of hacking,
fine food, tea & fun. An outstanding hack-fest, I'd heartily
commend TÜBİTAK's hospitality. Reviewed a number of commits.
